2024 Arizona Bowl 50/50 Raffle
Official Rules:
General: By participating in any of the 2024 Arizona Bowl 50/50 Raffles ("Raffle"), entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Arizona Bowl, which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to the Raffle. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and is void where prohibited.
Jackpot: The "Jackpot" shall be the total proceeds from raffle tickets sold for that drawing ("Raffle Tickets"), less reasonable expenses incurred by the Arizona Bowl for the operation of the Raffle. The Jackpot will be publicly posted during the Raffle. In the event of a surplus of expenses deducted, such proceeds shall be retained by the Arizona Bowl and donated to charity. In the event of insufficient deductions to cover expenses, the Arizona Bowl will absorb such expenses.
Raffle Proceeds: Fifty percent (50%) of the Jackpot will benefit the Arizona Bowl Gives program, a non-profit arm supporting programs and initiatives to help foster and improve youth athletics at all levels. These programs aim to enhance their educational, athletic, community, and personal development.
Eligibility: The Raffle is open only to all persons who, at the time of entry, are located in the State of Arizona and are eighteen (18) years of age or older. By participating, entrants agree to be subject to these Official Rules.
Purchasing Raffle Tickets:
ALL PURCHASES MUST BE MADE BY ELIGIBLE ENTRANTS WHO ARE LOCATED WITHIN THE STATE OF ARIZONA AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. Raffle Tickets may be purchased in increments as follows: One (1) Raffle Ticket for $20.00; Three (3) Raffle Tickets for $50.00; Three (3) Raffle Tickets for $5.00; eight (8) Raffle Tickets for $100; ten (10) Raffle Tickets for $10.00; forty (40) Raffle Tickets for $20.00; one hundred and twenty five (125) Raffle Tickets for $50.00. From time to time, the Arizona Bowl may offer promotions where a larger quantity of Raffle Tickets will be available as part of a purchase (e.g., one hundred (100) Raffle Tickets for $20.00).
In-Person: Tickets may be available at the Arizona Bowl event from designated kiosks and raffle staff.
Online: Visit the official Arizona Bowl 50/50 Raffle website and follow the directions to purchase and print a Raffle Ticket. To be valid, a Raffle Ticket purchased online must be printed at the time of purchase. Entrants purchasing Raffle Tickets online must complete their purchase as instructed.
There is no limit to the number of Raffle Tickets an individual may purchase. All Raffle Ticket purchases are final, and no refunds or replacements will be issued. Raffle Tickets are only valid for the drawing held after the applicable Purchase Period.
Raffle Tickets Are Not Tax Deductible: The IRS considers raffle tickets to be non-deductible as charitable contributions.
Prize: Each winner will receive fifty percent (50%) of the Jackpot.
Taxes: Each winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local income or excise taxes, fees, and charges associated with the prize. Federal law may require withholding on certain prize values, and any changes in tax law will be followed.
Selection of Winner: After the conclusion of the applicable Purchase Period, one (1) Raffle Ticket will be drawn to determine the prize winner. The winning Raffle Ticket number will be posted on the Arizona Bowl website. The winning number may also be announced in the stadium, on social media, or during Arizona Bowl broadcasts.
Prize Claim: The prize claimant must notify the Arizona Bowl within thirty (30) days of the drawing and provide verifiable proof of the winning ticket. A Raffle Ticket may be shared by multiple claimants; however, the direct purchaser of the ticket will be presumed to be the sole winner. Claimants will be required to provide all necessary information, including tax identification information, and must complete an Affidavit, Prize Claim, and Release within five (5) business days of receiving it. If a prize is not claimed within the specified time or if a claimant is ruled ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and retained by the Arizona Bowl for charitable use.
Odds: The odds of winning the Raffle depend on the number of Raffle Tickets purchased for the applicable drawing.
Transfer of Raffle Tickets or Prize: Raffle Tickets may be given away to other eligible persons, but may not be resold. Any Raffle Tickets resold are void, and individuals purchasing or reselling in violation of these rules are ineligible to win. A winner may transfer their prize to an eligible third party, who will then be responsible for all associated taxes and costs.
Administration: The Raffle will be conducted by the Arizona Bowl. The Arizona Bowl reserves the right to modify these Official Rules at any time.
Release of Liability: By participating, entrants agree to release the Arizona Bowl and its affiliates from any claims, injuries, or losses arising out of the Raffle, including property damage or personal injury, whether due to negligence or otherwise.
Publicity Release: By accepting a prize, winners grant the Arizona Bowl full permission to use their name, likeness, and prize information for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
General Conditions: The Arizona Bowl is not responsible for technical difficulties, errors, or issues with Raffle Ticket purchases, entry processing, or prize distribution. Any attempts to tamper with the Raffle or its operations will result in disqualification. The Arizona Bowl reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Raffle in case of any unauthorized intervention or other causes that could affect the fairness of the Raffle.
Governing Law: The Raffle and these Official Rules shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these Official Rules invalid, the remainder shall remain enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. The venue for any cause of action arising out of the Raffle or these Official Rules shall be located in Pima County, Arizona.
